These high quality wood bases truly accent sublimated tiles. All of our bases are made with premium quality hardwood available in black, red oak, maple, cherry, and walnut. Each base is finished with several coats of Sherwin-Williams premium catalyzed lacquer ensuring superior scratch and moisture resistance and non-yellowing properties. That means your wood will be protected and look great for many years to come.
Bases are available in single tiles sizes from 4.25” to 12” in all four wood species and include the tile slot angled to give the best tile display. Ceramic tile, glass and hardboard tiles have different thicknesses and so we have made different bases to ensure best fit and stability. Base lengths for multiple tile displays are also available; please see the online store for availability.
All our wood frames and wood display bases started out designed for the sublimation industry, but they can easily be used to display etched tiles, sandblasted tiles, laser engraved tiles, or any other item you want a wood base for in addition to sublimation tiles.
